Great new single release by Doves. The song kicks off with synths that sound somewhere between The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and The Chemical Bros “Private Psychedelic Reel.” It then drifts into a guitar led stomping track with a great melody. The only downfall is that it has been released during the middle of the summer, which may confuse some Radio 1 listeners and MTV viewers, therefore Winter Hill has had limited airplay. Get the album “Kingdom of Rust”, best album of 2009…so far.
