Wrecking Ball
Ever since Bruce walked out on to the stage of the Giants Stadium at 8.15pm on September 30th I have been after this song !! It was fabulous then and it is fabulous now.
Springsteen is THE great storyteller of a generation and will, IMHO, never be bettered.
Thank you iTunes for finally releasing this in the UK as it has been on the US iTunes for weeks now.
Now for the next album - I think there will be quite a wait unfortunately.

I've loved Bruce Springsteen songs for as many years as I've loved music. But, for a while now (perhaps back to 'Devils In The Dust'), his best songs haven't been from the album releases - the theme song for 'The Wrestler' for example, his cover of Suicide's 'Dream Baby Dream', and further back of course, 'Streets Of Philadelphia' - and this is one of those songs. It's absolutely fabulous! Tremendous! It has so many moods in the one song, a sense of time passing, great moments remembered, and being a part of something, most of all, as the song progresses a great sense of celebration too. ...if he had a whole album of these, he'd have another 'Born In The USA' to contend with. Buy it now, and tell everyone you know to do the same.

Great live Springsteen song with a good video. Is there nothing Bruce cant write a great song about. Artist of 2009!!
