Raise The Alarm!
After disregarding the rulebook and playing live all over the country in the weeks leading up to the release, Loose Tongue have finally captured the magic and energy of their mesmerising live shows on record.
From the opening 'Drive Time' rock of Breaking in, to the 60's influences on Never Make Sense, Written on Both Sides doesnt let up, delivering chorus' that any milkman could be forgiven for whistling as the mornings get darker.
Deeper is the standout track on this EP. A maze of E-bowed guitars, Double Bass and life affirming lyrics. "Ive looked to the stars, but I cant say why" sings frontman Ash, any listener is let off for feeling his confusion and desperation as the song comes to its conclusion.
Downfall is the power ballad that a band can spend a lifetime searching for and with disco/rock stomper See it Strange, the band seem keen to leave it all on the dancefloor of alternative clubs wherever they are. And then comes the emotional close. Raise the Alarm is a tale of reflection and isolation, meanwhile, the world is coming to a nasty end outside the front door. And there lies the skill of this band, sing along chorus' and gorgeous melodies all wrapping up the bleakest of pictures. "Take what you need and Raise The Alarm" is the final order on the CD...Well I've got my copy of Written on Both Sides, so all thats left to do is Raise The Alarm!

Loose tongue are the fresh, innovate and unique band this world is craving!!! In this world of auto tune, over production and generic bore rock Loose Tongue break the trend of the current generic Indie band with an outstanding display of classic songwriting and electrifying performance.
With just the right mix of bittersweet melody, driving rhythm and a guitar sound that will make Johnny Marr sit up and take notice, Loose Tongue have crafted an amazing EP that, maybe, just maybe, will launch the band into the mainstream spotlight that they deserve.
Loose Tongue are on their way, Raise the Alarm indeed....
