Powerful and Imaginative
This album certainly has a deeply contemporary angle, a treat for open minded jazz listeners who will appreciate the faultless technical dexterity of the entire ensemble. Sophie’s vocal agility and warm empathetic voice absolutely leads the pack in this powerful and imaginative debut.
Wonderful
I find no better form of relaxation than coming home from a busy day at work and turning on this soothing, melodious CD by a clearly talented musician. A highly recommended choice; it gets better the more you listen to it.
Nice album to come home to!
Having listened to this album many times I have begun to appreciate what a talented young lady Sophie Smith is. I look forward to her next efforts with anticipation.
