A GREAT RETURN TO FORM!

The Manics are reborn! A great return to form in my opinion. Nicky Wire says the new album combines the sounds of Generation Terrorist and Everything Must Go and I think you can hear both those influences on "Your Love Alone Is Not Enough". Also, having Nina Perrson's vocal on it, definitely draws comparisons to Little Baby Nothing. The band have definitely reclaimed what was rightly theirs. Other things worthy of note in the Manics return, is that the bands current image is reminiscent of their earlier years.. the record artwork, the make up, the clothes etc. and the political views are ever present. I think anyone jaded by the last two studio album's, 2001's "Know Your Enemy" and 2004's "Lifeblood" will be more than happy with this offering and forthcoming album "Send Away The Tigers". Reviews in the press also seem to be ticking all the right boxes and people seem geniunely pleased to have the Manics back, and back on form especially.

Superb

Excellent first single. Really like the combination of James's and Nina's vocal performance. Cant wait for the album release and in particular seeing them in GLASTONBURY!!!

Ace

Heard it on Soccer AM a few weeks ago, best one to date!

Their self-consciously dangerous image,...
