The 4oD app is free to download and is the only way you can watch 4oD on your iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. It enables you to catch up on a wide selection of programmes recently broadcast on Channel 4, E4 and More4, for up to 30 days after transmission. Once you have downloaded the app, the content is available to watch free of charge with no limits to the amount of content you can play.
You can also keep some of your favourite programmes forever by downloading content to own via iTunes. Watch out for the download button in the programme screens.
Channel 4 has an extensive library of programmes (including both classic shows and more recent programmes that have dropped out of our 30-day catch up ‘window’). Unfortunately, it’s not possible to bring you all of this content via this app – but a small selection is currently available. We will extend this range as soon as possible.
This application does not work outside the UK. Users in the Republic of Ireland may download the app, but some programmes may not be available due to rights availability. The app can be browsed using 3G or Wi-Fi connectivity, but video playback is only available using Wi-Fi, and is only supported on iOS 4.3 and above (this means that older generation devices are not supported, including iPhone 3G and 2nd generation iPod Touch devices).

Doesn't let you play anything on 3G therefore is a waste of time.
Buffer length too short
Can't watch anything on the go even when using a 24mbps MIFI, kinda defeats the object of catching up on the go :(

You fixed it. And to the guy who says "no Simpsons". That show isn't owned by Channel 4.
