Run your Windows applications on OSX without the need of buying a Windows license. Well, you even do not need to install Windows. Just download WinOnX and you are ready to go within 2 minutes.

- WinOnX should only be used for applications which are not available for OSX. Whenever an application is available for OSX, we strongly recommend to use this version.

- You can look at http://www.winonx.com/compatibility/ to get some information how good your application might work with WinOnX which is an ongoing project. In case your Windows application does not work at the moment, there is a good chance that it will work after one of the next updates.

- In case your application does not work with WinOnX please drop us a note at http://winonx.com/feedback. We always try to improve the quality based upon your feedback.

- WinOnX is based on the open source Wine project. It is a layer which redirects the communication between an application and Windows to OSX. As a result not all applications are fully compatible. Most applications run fine, some run even faster but also some run slower or even crash.

You can choose if you want to subscribe to WinOnX or purchase a lifetime license.
Subscriptions include a 1 week free trial and regular app updates. After the subscription expires you cannot start your windows apps anymore but you still can access all your data.

Was an awesome app, but it is now atrocious

I used to use this app to run windows apps like .exe files or specific type of video programmes which are only available for windows. I know that this programme uses wine bottler but with various programmed and customisable virtual machines, that's the reason why I've bought the pro version 3 years ago. However, the update a year ago doesn't work well at all and nothing is working. The programmes cannot be opened at all and I am forced to use bootcamp at times now. it was a georgeous app that everyone loved, but it is not a pathetic software. I hope that if any of the developers see this, please fix it since that will help a lot of people like us.

Doesn't work

It doesn't work on Monterey. Probably the developers doesn't care about their software anymore hence the result. Also Apple are to blame cause since I upgraded to Monterey more than half of my programs are not working and I have to update them, but the thing is when I do update them they are still not compatible with Monterey. What I crap situation Apple put us in.

This used to be good

I used this for two programs, a mp3 tag program and a file catalogue program, Both used to work, This doesn't seem to work at all for those same programs. They also force to sign away the waiver with a click for petentially getting a refund... unacepptable.
