Adobe Ideas is an ideal companion for the design applications from Adobe that you love, including Adobe Illustrator® and Adobe Photoshop®. Easily sketch using vectors, and choose and save color themes. With the option to purchase additional layers within the application, you can enjoy 10 drawing layers plus a photo layer for each sketch as well the ability to transform layers- control specific layer opacity and move, rotate and scale each layer independently.

In-app purchase of extra layers.
Somehow after syncing my iPad with iTunes on my PC, the extra layers that I'd purchase the week before mysteriously disappeared. To restore these layers however, you will need to purchase them again. It is not possible to re-download nor transfer to your iPhone. I tried to contact the developer but was directed to a useless web blogg instead. Apparently, according to iTunes support, this purchase was classed as "in-app" and one that must be paid for again and again each time you uninstall or transfer to between machines. I think this is ridiculous and therefore I refuse on principle to repurchase the layers even though it may cost less than £1. It was also frustrating to find that the developers of this app have not made themselves more accessible.
Lovely
I had the very first version of this when I first got my iPad, and didn't appreciate it.
But it's gone from strength to strength and the creators have done a great job of putting just enough features in and not too many. Since I got a stylus, this has become one of my most-user apps on my iPad. I love Sketchpad too, but that's for art, and it's quite slow: I tend to think of Ideas more as a zoomable scrollable whiteboard for jotting down sketches, diagrams, layouts, and it works beautifully for that.
The extras on this version are great - I was hoping we might get VGA out - thanks! In addition, and not included on the What's New lists, you can now reposition individual layers using an option on the 'Move' button.
I have one last request and this will then be perfect: an eye-dropper on the colour selector so I can sample a colour that's already on-screen....

Average editing app that used to be free
And should STILL be free/inexpensive. I had this when it was free, just redownloaded and I'm upset that I've been charged £4 for a decidedly average application.
Now I've looked into it I would've expected, considering the price, that the layers were included in this overpriced under-featured app. They aren't, so to add layers that would be more money for a (still) average app.
My advice - avoid. Mini draw is good for vectors, I'd rather search for a better alternative than this.
Bottom line - I want my money back.
