The AppRadio from Pioneer is the first 2-DIN unit that places various iPhone content right where you can see, touch and control them.

Would have 5 stars....but
Great app & works well however the authorisation to use app - allow or not allow apple message is really annoying ESP as my phone is in the glove box. Please fix and add option for always
allow!
Update: you DO NOT have to take radio out to update. Just have 2 micro sd cards and go to www.pioneer.eu to update. Follow instructions - its dead simple! All works now! - still annoying I have to approve the app to open.
Update: I had same problem with app not working - however - update your pioneer firmware and software to v.2.5 and all works ok. Go to pioneer website and follow support and download links and have 2 micro sd cards ready and update firmware - all worked fine for me!
Update: if apps show blank screen make sure app is open and phone isn't locked. I had this problem and it was because app wasn't open and screen was locked!
Overheating??
Anyone else having the iPhone overheating?? I no this is not an app problem but it still a pioneer problem still 3 stars
Update actually I am giving it 2 satrap the apps are crap, pioneer pull your finger out

Free nav doesn't work on unit screen
iPhone screen still doesn't sleep
(are you going to pay for all these iphones new batteries?)
The amount of available apps is shockingly bad
Is the unit be faster with a 2.50 firmware update?
The actual look use and appearance of the unit is great -sadly let down by the application you have provided for it.
The unit should be able to download and save the apps directly
And only TWO backgrounds ?? Even very cheap units have the option of a car manufacture background.
C'mon pioneer u can do better than this. .?! Can't you ???
And you really need to sort the iPhone screen sleeping thing . iPhone gets seriously hot in no time!!!
