WAS good
The game was awesome when I played on my older iPad but now it doesn’t work with iOS 11. So if your reading this Atari please update and make it compatible with iOS 11
Absolutley Wonderfull slice of heaven. 5 stars.
Fairplay i decided to roll a cigerette tonight and trawl itunes useing the search term *asteroids* then useing Stardust. Primarily i was after a super stardust clone (from the Amiga days) Stardust was a solid clone of asteroids. So i lit up my cigerette and downloaded 10 free clones of asteroids, including this one (which isnt a clone btw).
To cut a long story short, ive been sitting here for about 3 hours solid, lol.
This is free, and its not nessisarily free minum, pay to play either..
This app will remain on my ipod for good. The filesize is 74mb and the price is free.
The control are very very very good. its double analogue via two virtual sticks.
Atari didnt just bash this out in a rush to make a bit of money - This is a killer, killer, killer app.
I've been sitting here for 3 hours solid, im a 28 year old gamers whos played them all, and this impressed my wool socks off.
Roll yourself a cigerette, throw a podcast on - and kick back with this free app.

So frustrating!
Entertaining and addictive? Very.
Incredibly frustrating due to game abruptly terminating? Absolutely.
If you like the game enough to get past the fact it's designed to slowly pick your pocket, then the satisfaction of seeing your crystal score grow following some serious shooting and evasive flying will soon evaporate as the game blips to a sudden halt leaving you staring blankly at your home screen.
Never written a review before, but if this saves one person from this torment then my work is done. It's too late for me, having just seen over 30,000 crystals disappear (not for the first time), I'm about to try again in the vain hope that this time it won't crash.....
