Battery HD+ Pro 4+

My original review of 4 years ago, enclosed below, advised readers not to waste their money on this app. The developer / Apple have clearly taken notice of the criticisms and improved this app beyond all recognition. It performs as well as the version that I have on my old Kindle Fire HD. This is now a very useful app and well worth the money. Thank you to all involved in the update.

I purchased this app for my iPhone 5s as I already have it on my Kindle Fire HD 7”.
Where have all the features gone ? There is no calibration for the specific device. There is no graph display showing the charge / discharge level over a period of days. There are no alarms to inform the user of the battery level either when discharging or charging. The is no option for automatic display when my iPhone is put on charge. The only customisable feature common to both versions is the colour of the battery “electrolyte". Why can’t both versions have the same features since both were produced by Santiago Lema? I would award the Kindle version 5* but unlike Nona I will only award this version 1*. Don’t waste your money”

I must admit I really only use it to see the progress of charging and if the charger is actually working
I used the fancy calibration stuff. Not sure if it really is that useful?
I have a Warning though:
On calibration you have to switch off your auto lock. I’m wary of leaving my phone anywhere open let alone for the duration of several hours. The only solution put it next to my bed and cover it with a whole lot of cushions to cover the light. At 4 in the morning it LOUDLY tested the music volume. Not funny devs! So not really into all the other features. Just use it to test for charging and paid for pro to stop the adverts

Well deserved five stars. Love it that it shows charging on Lock Screen and plays music when it’s fully charged! Lovely graphics loads of options. Happy to upgrade to the pro version! Only thing I would like to see is the sister app which is installed on the Apple Watch goes into Lock Screen when on charge and it’s just too difficult entering your PW to see the app…. Please see if you can extend the great performance of the iPhone app to the watch so we can see charge on Lock Screen? But that’s a hope. And this review is of the iPhone app which is brilliant and deserves five stars!!
