Prior to booking this apartment my 17 year old granddaughter and her friend had to be moved quickly late evening as the hotel threatened to throw them out if they did not pay the receptionist 100 euros!!!!! They were petrified as he kept returning to their room demanding money. This was their last night there. For their safety and peace of mind I booked this soap for them to escape to and I am so glad I did. After a small hiccup in directions they arrived just before midnight. Host arrived shortly after and gave them their key. Lovely apartment clean and spacious. In the cold light of day I asked host if they had somewhere to store their luggage on vacating the apartment at 12 noon as their flight was not until 7:30pm today. He said they could stay at the apartment until 3:30 and he would order them a taxi to the airport all for 30 euros. The girls being true to their instructions vacated the apostle -2 noon and left key inside! Of course they could not now get back into the apartment. However the host returned to the apartment and retrieved their key and let them in. I cannot thank this host enough for being so helpful especially since I am in Scotland trying to get all this sorted. Would 100% recommend this host and property. By the way complaint ring made to original hotel about the threats towards the girls

Myself, my husband and my 15 year old son have just stayed at B&B Macalube that is situated in Aragona, a short drive from Agrigento and Scala dei Turchi. The hosts, Pietro and Angela are incredible, caring and attentive to detail. The rooms are clean and there are choices of double and single rooms. The latter room isn't small and has a decent sized living area and a shower room with a washing machine that is ideal for a family. During our stay, Pietro took us to see some local archaeological and ecological landmarks, such as the olive tree that might date back to the times of the Romans. For those who drive and may be using their own transport, this is an ideal location since you get free gated parking. The B&B is located almost at the entrance to Aragona so one can easily drive in and out without having to drive through the centre of town; however, there is a Supermarket around 100 metres away so it's very convenient, a pharmacist is also a short stroll away. Those with young children can take their kids to a nearby play area that's open till late. Good restaurants that won't break the bank in Aragona include the Sperdicchio, Bar Naselli, Bar Europa, Bar Olympia and Maccalube. Places worth a visit include the parish church, Naselli Palace, across the square and many other religious, natural and secular sites.

We had a lovely stay at villa Heaven. The grounds and outside of the villa are stunning. The views are amazing and there is a lovely view. The villa had everything we needed, with washing machine, dishwasher and well stocked with utensils for cooking etc. it was in a very private location, and a loud speaker is provided if you want to play music and chill to the max. You won’t disturb anyone. There is a pool table and table tennis (although the pool cues are worn and only
One table tennis bat) A few points to bare in mind, the villa is located up a steep hill, on a dirt road. A car is pretty much essential and a confident driver if driving at night it can be quite hard until you get used to it, the road is not lit and very dark at night. The bins are located on the main road so you need to take the rubbish in your car to get to a bin which isn’t ideal. There are ants in the property but I’ve found this is always the case in villas in Cyprus, you just need to store food in fridge. Overall it was a great stay very relaxing but I think the road needs to be pointed out as I had children with me and could not imagine what I would of done if I had not been a driver and able to hire a car. Overall it was amazing and I would stay there again. It’s a short drive from stunning beaches, lots of restaurants and bars and reasonably priced considering the size and amenities of the villa.
