Things I hate about the app
Each time I reboot my phone I have to reboot old and new publications
It takes long to load and freezes
I end up losing all I have downloaded in old publications that I would like to save
Some false advertising
I purchased a subscription thinking I would get access to all editions of British Vogue on the app, not just the current one. After going back and forth with both Conde Nast and Apple, and rifling through terms and conditions, it seems you only get access to the most recent edition, and the new ones thereafter. If you want older editions, you have to buy them individually! I think that’s pretty rubbish, and poorly advertised. Really disappointed.
Doesn’t seem to work properly on iPhone
Some issues don’t download all the images, though you still get all the ads… not great for a magazine which is half visuals. I like the option to read articles on the go. But I still want to see all the content, and the images are missing from the latest download. Instructions just say delete download and app and start over again but it still doesn’t work. Don’t bother with a digital only subscription!
