One of the best games ever

I played broken sword around 10 years ago (I'm now 26) and at the time had some help from my Dad to solve many of the puzzles. Now I'm looking on this game with great nostalgia and really enjoy the edited version which includes the new narrative of Nico (hurrah to a joint female-male protagonist!!). It has been remastered nicely to play well on a small decide with an easy click and point feature. It has been made easier by the option to reveal hints, but I guess you can choose not to use them.
This game,e was super when it came out and has stood the test of time with a great story line and a real sense of fun. The graphics are really special (games aren't made like this any more which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I am so glad there is access to one's like this as well).
It has run smoothly throughout with no software issues.

Incredible immersive game

This is without doubt one of the best games I’ve ever played, being second only to broken sword 2 and certainly the best gaming franchise I’ve ever played. The game has been a huge part of my childhood, inspiring me to enter a world of point and click adventures, and seek out the history referred to in the games. I feel the original is better than the remaster as I liked that you could ‘R.I.P’ if you make a mistake and the added content wasn’t quite as powerful as the original, with puzzles acting as brain teasers rather than naturally part of the story, but that being said it’s still great and even more to play! I would 100% recommend buying 1,2 and 5 in the bundle as I’ve replayed all of these games multiple times for years, and own them on multiple platforms. Well done revolution

Classic

There is nothing really more to be said than this is simply a classic point and click adventure. Some people prefer the sequel but I find this one the best of the series. Beautiful visuals, immersive story, great soundtrack and simple but effective gameplay. George Stobbart is surely one of adventure games most iconic characters, ably brought to life by Rolf Saxon’s voice acting. I have lost count as to how many times I have played this game to completion. Nostalgia aside this is still a great game that holds up as well as it did on original release. A must buy for any fans of the genre.
