No longer works: what has happened?
I have been using CityMaps2Go and more recently the Pro edition since my iPhone 5 days . I am now using an iPhone X, which has Ron Tor app fine since I purchased it not long after it was released.
But today CM2Go just appears then disappears. I cannot use it!
What has happened all of a sudden? No iPhone updates, nothing. This is out of the blue! Help!

Thank you very much for using our app.
We are deeply sorry that you have to experience this problem.
The root cause was already identified and the issue will be fixed with the next update of the app.
Apple already granted us a quick review process, which means the update will be available later today.
If you need the app sooner, you can reinstall it, which also fixes the issue. Please note that this means all data is deleted.
Only if you are registered in the profile section of the app with an Ulmon Hub account, the data is restored afterwards by logging in.
Let me again apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Edit: The update is now available. Please update the app in the App Store, this will fix the issue.
Absolutely brilliant!
This is one of those applications which is indispensable if you are a traveller - or even if you only want a street map of your home area. If you are going on holiday, just download the detailed map of city or province or country you are visiting before you set off - and it's permanently on your iPad until you delete it. No access to the internet needed.
Support and upgrades
I have used this app for years but rate it as poor due to the upgrades.
In 2010 it was amazing due to Eu and global roaming costs. I would use it everywhere and pin all my points of interest. I asked if zoom out could be global and responsively this feature was added.
All these tags however were lost when a change in map formatting lost all of this with an upgrade. Perhaps this was my own request.
Assuming this was a one off I upgraded to v16.0 lite and used this for a while.
It still boots up but recently no maps were available on or off line. Despite saying they are saved.
In error I went to this pro version I am rating here. The maps don't cross from the lute to pro so all these are downloaded again. The maps are not visible offline. It has been like this for a year now.
