Die dARsein-App veranschaulicht die Zeitgeschichte des Darmstädter Olbrich-Haus - live vor Ort am Gebäude.
Die interaktive Foto-Zeitreise informiert Sie über die Historie des Gebäudes. Augmented Reality, die Erweiterte Realität, überlagert dazu historische Informationen auf Fotos, die Sie vom Gebäude vor Ort aufnehmen. Ihre Bilder bestimmen somit den Blick auf die Geschichte.


Die App wurde vom Darmstadt Marketing in Kooperation mit dem Fraunhofer IGD entwickelt und steht kostenfrei zum Download zur Verfügung. Sie benötigen ein iPhone 4 mit aktivierten Ortungsdiensten und Internetverbindung.
Hinweis: Die App liefert ortsbezogene Informationen, die nur in Darmstadt direkt vor dem Olbrich-Haus genutzt werden können.

This app depicts the history of Darmstadt’s House of Olbrich – right in front of the real building.
By taking photos you can interactively travel through the building’s history: Augmented Reality superimposes information on each picture and visualizes the impressive historical architecture of the Art Nouveau. Jump back in time visually by photos you take with your iPhone.

The app was created by Darmstadt Marketing and Fraunhofer IGD and is available for free. You will need an iPhone 4, activated location-based services and an online connection. Please note: the app shares location-based information that is only available on-site.
