TOO ADDICTIVE!
I read a review for this game on Touchaholics stating that it personifies all that is wrong with the AppStore and that its too old school for its own good! They even advised avoiding it!
Well, as soon as I read this I immediately bought it as I bloomin love old school games!! This game is quite possibly the most addictive thing I've played in many months! I buy games for my iPhone/iPad almost daily, but since buying this I haven’t bought one for about a week, I'm hooked!
Forget all these overly complex 3D titles that TRY to make the iPhone into a DS or PSP, its just not the device for those types of games, its a device for fun, pick up and play games.
In my opinion this game personifies all that is RIGHT about the AppStore!

Destructive Fun
Death Worm may be simplistic and low in extras, but after playing the game for a few hours I would easily rank it among some of the most addictive and cheap iPhone games available such as Angry Birds or Cut the Rope.
Brilliantly you play as the gigantic worm monster gaining points and upgrades while causing mayhem destroyinging cars, tanks and helicopters. That is how complicated Death Worm gets, but it kept me entertained for hours and likely hours more.
My only concerns for Death Worm are the limited extras; Survival mode is a very good mode but the overall game needs more variation to stop it becoming stale in the oncoming updates. The cost of the game and the simplistic but fun and addictive gameplay however outweigh these these slight problems. Also, a previous reviewer has complained of the controls claiming them to be 'fiddly' and difficult to use use with large fingers; I completely disagree with this.
Priced normally at 60p it is a very good purchase, and at the the time of this review it is free to download for a limited time so you can do no wrong!
