To play a track stored in iCloud with djay, please download it first by clicking the iCloud download button next to the track in the Music (iPod) app. You can also download entire playlists.
☆ DRM Protected Songs Hint:
djay supports the vast majority of audio files, such as MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, AIF etc. including all songs available from the iTunes Store. However, songs purchased from the iTunes Store before 2009 were DRM protected and cannot be accessed by djay. If you still own such older files, you can upgrade these to DRM free (iTunes Plus) via iTunes.
TIPS & TRICKS:
★ Auto-Cut Scratching™: Scratch the record with two fingers for beat-matched cutting.
★ Manual Fader Cutting: Tap crossfader outside the knob for manual cutting.
★ Bounce Loop: Swipe finger across bounce loop matrix to change loop interval on-the-fly.
★ Gain: Swipe finger on level meters to quickly adjust gain, double tap to reset.

Djay live
Absolutely brilliant app!! Very realistic and decent sound from the split cable... I used it to dj for 4 hours in a bar on Saturday and have a couple of bits of feedback for improvement....
I mix using the faders, not the cross fader, twice when doing this a different finger clipped the waveform and the track jumped - could you implement a 'lock feature' like CDJs have in order to prevent this? Maybe it could also lock being able to reload the track which is playing (not that this happened to me)...
Also, for mixing live, the eq faders were very fiddly as they are hidden behind your finger, maybe large rotary knobs would work better here by dragging finger up and down to adjust so you could see where they are at..??
Or even.....the turntables are only any good for cueing and scratching. I don't scratch so could it be possible to replace the whole turntable section with the the eq faders/knobs when the eq button is pressed - this would be more functional....
Thanks for producing such a great app, it would have 5 stars with the above improvements....

Djay has to easily be one of the best apps for the iPad and phone! Absolutely AWESOME! If you like mixing/scratching music, then get this app. I love it to bits. The developers are always updating with new features and enhancements. Keep up the good work.

Has got to be the best Dj app on the market. Period! Only thing is still not updated the bpm reader. It only stores it when you load the track. Would be so much better if it scanned them all on app startup
