Saves the day for my outdated Macbook without Airdrop
Apple have inconveniently decided to stop allowing my Macbook [Although old,Hardware is still very much capable] to use the airdrop ability, with recent OSX software :( dropcopy has very gratefully allowed me to chance to keep transferring files betwen various computers and phones at home. Apple have no real reason other than profit to do this to those with ageing but powerful macs. fortunately dropcopy arent robbing people of this capability and i thank the company massively!.
Very quick and easy to install and use, and to drag and drop, this tool is very important and handy. Many thanks!!
Perfect
A brilliant app. It just works without quirks. Well worth the money. Lots of uses: eg it’s a great idea to be able to bring files home to work on, [and view them on your phone too] without scrabbling around for a memory stick.
Must Have App but...
It's fantastic when devs produce apps that should be innate to the OS. So useful in terms of variety of OSs that are supported too.
Only one issue: the default short to open DC is "shift cmd ." which is the same to view hidden files and fodlers. Is there a way to change that, otherwise the only way to view hidden files and folders is to uninstall DropCopy, which is a bit of a pain?
