This official Explore Kent app lets you download walking and cycling guides that you can follow in the Kent countryside. You can also track your own routes and share them with other users of the Explore Kent app. Our guides let you explore the countryside and coast along with the many historic cities, bustling market towns, picturesque villages and hidden hamlets that make a great day out in Kent.
With a range of map types from Satellite to terrain to standard map, you can chose how you follow our guides. Detailed text descriptions also make it easy to navigate. You can even save the guides and certain maps for offline viewing - perfect if you have no mobile reception in a particular area.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This app will only work on an iPhone 3GS or newer.

Brilliant!
Only used it once so far ... but I only downloaded it this morning! Easy to use and map is great - even tells you how far to the next POI. Yes, info on parking, facilities etc would be handy and when you navigate away from the POI page it would be nice if it took you back / showed you where you were when you go back to it (hence only 4 stars) but what it does, it does really well. I'm impressed :-)

Great App! An excellent walk today with impeccable directions. The pics with dots are brilliant but the live tracking on the map with route is even better! Thanks for the great work, Explore Kent!
