Good company - don’t like the new app redesign
I always use Falcon Taxis as my local company. I like the option to book and prepay. 9/10 they arrive on time. Since the app update the app isn’t as easy to use. I have received a refund when I’ve cancelled the booking. Would recommend but hope they keep striving to provide a good customer service.
The worst - do not recommend
If I could give 0 stars, I would do that!
This is the worst taxi service ever!
Going to Luton Airport (about a week ago)
the driver has been late 20min - calling and asking where we are… saying he’s waiting in front of the house (which he was not because we’ve been waiting there) but even after explaining where he needs to go (even though they can see the location on the map!) the driver has been waiting somewhere else for 10min…
Now, going back from the airport we’ve waited 40min (!!!). Called the office multiple times and been told to wait another 5min and another 5min… but the driver has been driving around Luton which you can clearly see because you can track the vehicle!!! And when leaving the airport he probably tried to leave without paying, calling assistance saying that he doesn’t have the £5 as coins but suddenly he found them like seconds later.
Very unfriendly driver as well, just like btw…
Extra charge scam
I’m currently sat in a taxi going to my destination, I asked if I could instead be dropped off just around the corner, as this is not far, nor an inconvenience, the taxi driver has asked for more money then tried to justify why he’s trying to charge me extra, when we aren’t close to the town yet, I’m very disappointed in the company for allowing this type of behaviour, for some extra clarity if I was to book my taxi from the place I am going and the place I wanted to go to, it would’ve cost me the same amount
