You wanted it fixed so our new game update goes that little bit further to ensure an outstanding football experience:-
• Added a Floating D-Pad option (On by default)
• Increased touch responsiveness within Team Management screens and other places
• Fixed an issue with some players hairstyles
• Increased default difficulty to semi-pro
• Increased the level of AI fouling
• Added a landscape orientation flip to place the headphone jack out of the way
• Music settings are now saved upon exit
• Team Management changes are now saved between games and upon exiting the app
• Fixed an issue with buying some players in the transfer hub
• Fixed an issue with the Match Statistics screen
• Made some changes to how Prestige points were deducted in Manager Mode

Ruined by bugs
This game is riddled with bugs. My team is scrambled after every game in manager mode (and changing players is clumsy as hell). The AI and gameplay means players randomly stop, or run in the wrong direction. The controls are awful. The double taps and slides hardly ever work, and must have been dreamt up by an idiot.
Good depth of teams and modes, but for gameplay buy x2 instead.
Update 12/12/09: bug fix doesn't work. Manager mode STILL scrambles teams
Great game - just give it a chance!
Some people seem to be giving this bad reviews for such stupid reasons! This is thebest footie game on the iPhone. Huge content, great gameplay which although tricky at first, once mastered allows for a great game. Graphics are great as is sound. Considering this is an iPhone app it really is awesome. The update has jot made a major improvement granted but it never needed one! The gameplay is great anyway!
Further review following update; gameplay better now but why oh why does the team sheet have to be scrambled every time you go back to it? And because the user interface is not the best this starts to make every match a chore! PLEASE ea get this right! Every other football game can. Other than this gameplay is great and beat iPhone. I've had them allandthis def comes out on top.
Great game
Great game but chould do with a few things adding such as
•change player numbers in manager mode
•player search in transfers
•abbility to create players and teams to use in manager mode
