Cogs HD is a groundbreaking puzzle game where players build increasingly complex machines using sliding tiles in 2D and 3D environments. INVENTOR MODE
Starting with simple puzzles, players are introduced to the widgets that are used to build machines — gears, pipes, balloons, chimes, hammers, wheels, props, and more.
TIME CHALLENGE MODE
If you finish a puzzle in Inventor Mode, it will be unlocked here. This time, it will take fewer moves to reach a solution, but you only have 30 seconds to find it.
MOVE CHALLENGE MODE
Take your time and plan ahead. Every click counts when you only get ten moves to find a solution.

Good game, good game!
Very addictive, I got so hooked that I couldn't put it down until I finished it. (with the exception of the challenge mode) some of the challenge levels have un-realistic targets..... Only 30 seconds to complete? "come on"???
But a great purchase and well worth the money.
Unique, pretty and original
I hesitated about buying this game after comparing the various different version on app store. The iphone version charges extra as in-app purchases for each 10 pack of levels. This ipad full version is dearer but it is not clear that it includes all levels for the initial price.
I was pleased after deciding to buy it regardless that there are no further charges to access all the levels.
This is one of the best looking ipad apps I've used, and I find the style of puzzles combined with the 3D graphics to be really fun.
Beautiful game
A very pleasing graphical game. You feel like you are designing something from Jules Verne! Love the woodwork and the old style metal work. Moving the pieces to achieve the aim is fun and when you have finished you can then try to beat your moves, time and score. This game is great on my iPad and for killing time at airports.
