• if you are unable to log in the first time, remember to turn on API Access in FreeAgent. Go to Settings -> API and Feeds in the FreeAgent interface!

With mobileAgent you can:
• Enter timeslips: Either by adding a new task to a project, or logging time against an existing task. Add comments to your timeslips so you can recall what you did on the day.
• Log mileage: It handles all allowed forms of transport (car, motorcycle, bicycle), so you can reclaim and rebill your mileage. (Units for Mileage are based on your FreeAgent settings. mobileAgent just records a number)
• Expense tracking. Just paid for lunch? Record the expense in FreeAgent from your table. No need to remember to do it when you get back to the office. You can even take a photo of your receipt and submit that with the expense.
• Receipt capture. Take a photo of your receipt, and upload it to Dropbox or send it via email, so you can use it when reconciling your bank statement at the end of the month.
• View outstanding, overdue or draft invoices
• See what your bank balances are (at last update), and have easy access to your sort code / account number, IBAN and BIC codes. Also works with credit cards and paypal accounts.
• Enter items while you're offline: Enter things when you remember – even while underground or on a plane. Sync back to FreeAgent next time you're connected.

mobileAgent works with iPhone (4S, 4, 3GS) and iPod Touch (3rd/4th generation) with iOS 4 or better. Can be used on the iPad, but is not designed for it. Works best with iOS 4.2 or newer.
mobileAgent can be used with all FreeAgent account types - UK and Universal. Also works with IRIS OpenBooks and other FreeAgent resellers. You need at least "Contacts and Projects" level of security to use mobileAgent.
What's New in Version 1.8.5
Fixed an issue where a manually entered VAT value in an expense would round to 1 DP (0.13 -> 0.1). Now does 2 DP
Fixed issue where a duplicate receipt name would overwrite the existing receipt. Now renames to _1, _2 etc.

Simplifies mileage and expense entries to Freeagent.
Simple & Effective
I've just started using FreeAgent and mobileAgent, both are very easy to use and effective.
It would be good to be able to edit expenses before uploading to FreeAgent. I'm sure there a few other tweaks that would improve the App over time but overall very good.
A great companion app for Free Agent
The ability to add expenses including mileage and receipts on the go is a winning feature and the timeslip functionality is used daily. Bit clunky in places but fully worth it's cost.
