Description
A complete multiple dive / multi-level dive planner for the technical diver. Includes support for Open Circuit Diving as well as Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCR).
Includes decompression stops, gas usage, CNS tracking, OTU tracking, Surface Interval tracking and many other features. Currently implements the Buhlmann ZHL16/C with Erik Baker's GF algorithm.
Open Circuit - Scuba : Supports Air to TriMix (any combination of O2/He/N2), with an unlimited number of decompression gases. Includes Thirds support for planning dives.
Closed Circuit (CCR): Supports any O2/He/N2 combination for diluent. Automatically generates bailout plans based on entry of bailout gases. Features a Cave/Wreck bailout option for overhead environment bailouts and gas planning.
Gas Fill/Mixer: Allows for filling of Air, Nitrox and Trimix via a simple, easy to use interface.
All settings are configurable via the iPhone Settings.

Buy it. It's just great.
I've run the free version of this for more than 12 months, on deep air deco dives down to 55 metres, using it as table/slate backup for my computers. My longest run time is about 90 minutes. I'm not a trimix or CC diver so I can't comment on those functions. I've just bought the pro version and, while there aren't that many new features I can see, I'm glad I did because:
1. You can now usefully change some of the settings from within the app rather than having to go to the Settings menu. This means you can, say, adjust GFs and see immediately what effect that has on your run times.
2. It looks like there are some other algorithms knocking about - it looks like there are possible VPM adjustments in the Settings menu (but these may be as yet unimplemented in the program itself?) which makes me think that iDeco Pro has some updates to come, which leads me to:
3. I love the free version so much, and found it _so_ useful - reliable deco, run times, gas consumption calculator, CNS calcs etc all ready and reassuring at your fingertips when you're on the dive boat and the site changes - that I wanted to pay for it to support it and to encourage whoever's programming it to keep on updating it with new stuff. I don't work for them or even know where in the world they're from - I don't recognise the names of any of the production team - so this is a genuine review from a genuinely impressed customer. My best app.

iDeco
Nice and easy to use. Intuitive and clear. Like the email facility. Some quirks in CCR mode bailout where inserting deep stops (as required by my deco computer - (a VR3) means it starts calculating the bailout from that point rather tan from the bottom. Overall a goo buy, quick and easy to use.
