InstaShop: Grocery Delivery 12+

Fabulous from my local shops

I have used this app/Instashop for a long time. In normal circumstances I have received by shopping within the hour. It has been delayed due to the covid situation but it has stated on each shop how long the deliveries will be and if they will be next day. The delivery people all have cool bags for the cold items and they are always pleasant. I've also started using the butchery shops and markets that are on here. I will continue to use Instashop, it has always been good.

Don’t do big orders ! You’ll hate your life

If you live in Oman and are a bank Muscat customer don’t bother having an order worth anything above 100. You’ll probably hate your life by the time you receive your order. 1. The transaction won’t go through and they won’t be able to help you figure a way to pay it online 2. They’ll ask u if u can make ur payment in cash, make you go get cash to pay ONLY to take more than 30 mins to even respond to you and then inform you the shop refuses cash payment and now you won’t even get your order!! They can’t assign your order for another or split it BUT their only solution is that YOU must place different orders multiple times which means more if your time is wasted! The last couple of time using this app has been extremely inconvenient. Good luck to anyone using this and Instashop please improve your system and call center, I really don’t want someone calling me just to tell me he can’t do anything

Easy but needs major improvements

The app is very easy to use. However, lots of important info is missing like sometimes weight or origin. A “pack of strawberries” is not a description - I want to know the weight, where it is from and when it is going to expire. Also, actual photos of the products would be nice - otherwise, it is not clear why products with the same photo may have such a big difference in price.
The replacement options are weird. Instead of offering a similar product be a different brand, they are offering different items from the same brand. Why?! If I need maple syrup, why offer me a bbq sauce? You have maple syrups by other brands, offer me them as a replacement!
The drivers are often late but the customer service is good, polite and speak good English
