Because inspiration can strike anywhere, we want you to take iStockphoto on the road with our official iPhone/iPod Touch app. Search our entire library of images and audio clips, save and send files, create lightboxes and more.
Also, if you’re an iStockphoto contributor, you can use the app to quickly check your sales and download statistics.
What's New in Version 1.1
• Your lightboxes are now cached on the device so they can be displayed much faster. Changes to lightboxes made on the web site are synced with the cache on your device.
• In your Account if you are a contributor you can see recently accepted or rejected files.
• There is now a fast slide animation when tapping the left/right arrow keys in file closeup view.
• When you are signed in and send out any emails with links to lightboxes or files your member name is appended for affiliate purposes.
• Fixed issue where if you were in search results or file closeup and chose to add files to the last lightbox you had added files to, that you would not get any feedback whether the files were added or not.
• Fixed issue where if you added files to a lightbox and then chose to create a new lightbox that it wouldn't be updated as the 'last lightbox you added files to' (so you can easily keep adding more files to that lightbox).
• Agency collection icons added
• If you use the file closeup 'More like this' button often and want an easier way to return to the original results - just shake the device.
• Other minor fixes

Fantastic app!
If you use iStockphoto for any reason, then this app is for you.
I'm a contributor and I use it to keep track of my uploads and sales stats.
The authors have done a great job, and continually improve the app via updates.
And you know what I like best? The price.
But. Can we PLEASE have some different images when it first opens? I'm tired of seeing the same ones again and again.
How disappointing
There's nothing terribly wrong with this app but one can't help be disappointed that after all this time this app isn't universal. Surely it's obvious to anyone with half a brain cell can see that the iPad is ideally suited for n app of this nature. For iStockphoto to have failed to upgrade their mobile app strategy reveals a lazy lack of understanding of how he technology landscape is changing
Good for searching but poor contributor financials
Perhaps it's just me but it only seems to show daily or monthly royalties, no total since last payout etc.
