Probably not as good as clipmenu - Yet!
I wanted both a clipboard manager + snippets manager and this does both
easy to use and works well on text
Just click on the snippet and it drops it in straght away, i like that.
However doesn’t hold IMAGES in the clipboard history (it only holds text). ClipMenu.app and ClipboardHistory.app can both store images in clipboard history.
Also the "insert snippets pop up" appears next to cursor in ClipMenu.app making it much easier than JFsnip.
Keyboard shortcuts are fixed (shift+Cnrtl+M & shift+Cnrtl+v ), the user cannot change to preffered keyboard shortcuts.
Also Dropbox integration would be extremely useful for syncing to other macs. Can I make that as a feature request for future Jfsnip versions.
The other 2 apps mentioned have some weakness too:-
ClipboardHistory.app is not recommended either as it has NO snippets manager &
ClipMenu snippet management is a little cumbersome
However clipmenu allows me to arrange the order of snippets folders, Unfortunately Jfsnip cannot sort the order of folders
So for the moment I cant fully give up Clip menu yet
very useful - organized clippings
