The Ladybird Classic Me Books app from Penguin Books Limited (“Penguin Books”) uses a third party app service provider (“Flurry”) in order to create accurate, real time user data reports so that Penguin Books can continue to improve the app user experience. The service collects and submits anonymous aggregated data about which app features are being used most frequently as well as your mobile device UDID (unique phone Identifiers) and/or IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identities), which are also anonymised via a secure hashing protocol, to Flurry servers. This information will be used to continually improve the features and functionality that Penguin Books releases in its subsequent versions of its mobile apps.

This really is an evil fairy tale!
I had purchased this for our son and he was so proud that he had read all the books himself and recorded them in his own voice. But after the nasty people from penguin books robbed them from him after the update only to be told "hey we'll give you a couple of free books, but you'll have to pay again to get all your other books back" and who cares if you spent ages reading and recording your voice? They don't!"
Avoid this app at your peril in the long run you'll be better off buying the original books from eBay!!
Watch out for this app to appear on a forthcoming episode of Watchdog, come on Apple Store sort these robbing piggies out, grrrrrrr :0(
This was amazing but now is terrible
This was a great app and purchased for a slightly higher price which gave me all the books for free. However today when I went to read a book with my son all my downloaded books had vanished!! I have no idea where they went and why but they are gone. Now I have to purchase them again through the shop. Totally unacceptable and this app should be removed from the app store in my opinion. I will not purchase the books again not even one, because chances are it will just vanish again and ill have to repurchase it again. It seems others are having this very same issue. I advice not to touch this app at all until they fix it and give us our books back!!
The new update gives two extra books, but hey ladybird I paid for all the books not one, or two or even three. All of them!!! And I had all of them until you stole them back and tried to charge me money for them again.
I state again do not give these con men your money!
What the hell is going on?
Since update I have lost all my books that I have paid for. Unable to restore purchases in the store, and it wants me to pay for them all again individually. FIX IT.
