The myAudi app connects your Audi to your life and gives you innovative functions & services for greater convenience as you drive.

The fourth generation of the myAudi app is now even easier to use and provides even more convenience every day. The new version marks the start of a continuous update process that will gradually revolutionise the myAudi app with an intuitive and user-centred interface.
The vehicle dashboard is the start of this process. It has been significantly simplified on the basis of customer feedback and visualises information such as the vehicle status in the form of cards. The new quick action drawer has the most important vehicle functions, which are always just one swipe away.

Get real-time information about your vehicle at any time and keep a constant eye on your fuel tank level, driving range, service appointments, warnings and much more. Plan journeys in the app from the comfort of your own home and send destinations and routes directly to your vehicle. You can also remotely adjust climate control and open/close vehicle doors. (The availability of services may vary, depending on the model and equipment of your Audi)

You must register on myAudi to use the myAudi connect services. The availability of services may vary, depending on the model and equipment of your Audi. The myAudi app is provided by the importer for the applicable market. See the app legal notice for details about the importer.
Some functions depend on third-party providers and may not be available without restrictions at all times or in every country. We recommend a flat-rate high-speed data package to use our services – the applicable costs depend on your contract with the network operator. If you do not have a fast enough data connection, you may not get the full benefit of the features. Please also note any data volume restrictions imposed by your mobile service provider.

Doesn’t keep connected to car

Would be a good app, if it worked. But it doesn’t. Won’t connect at all now, I keep being told to log out, delete and enter all the key user information again. Fine once, but it keeps happening. Now I’ve not got the details with me, so can’t reset and now the car has not updated for a week, telling me there is an error retrieving details, so now I have no idea of the electric charge and can’t see if it’s locked or where it’s located as it’s stuck on where it was a week ago. Come on Audi, this is just not good enough. If you design an app to connect to the car, then make sure it works. These constant connection errors need fixing. Otherwise, when it works, seems good, but it’s only worked well twice since I’ve had the car which is over a month, rest of the time it wouldn’t update and now won’t connect at all.

Very basic

*update* dropped another star - for some reason they are removing some of the already limited functionality in the app. Like the ability to change the charge max threshold eg. from 80% to 100%. God knows why and who runs these app releases in Audi - poor product management!
In general, very basic app. One annoying flaw, which I assume is in the name of “privacy”, but should really be corrected. There can be ONE key user to which the car is registered on the app. In the car, you can have several users, my partner and I each have an Audi account, which are set up as profiles/users in the car. I’m the “Key user” and have the car registered on myAudi app. Because my partner last drove the car, hence my “user” is logged out in the car, I can’t see the vehicle messages, mileage in the app or location - even though the car isn’t registered to my partner’s user in the app? As a “key” user I should always have this data available to see the status of the car e.g. if it’s unlocked, windows closed etc. OK - I might accept that the vehicle location might not be available for “tracking” concerns, but all other information should be available for me! Only option is to asked my partner to log out and log me in again before leaving the car, which is just plain stupid. Audi, you have a lot of work to do if your app is to reflect a “premium” car manufacturer.

Charging programmes should include charge level %

Calling the product developers - There are numerous forum discussions of the charge programmer being overly complicated but despite that over engineering, it’s impossible to set the charge level % in any of the programmes. There seems to be numerous settings for times, locations, climate, timer toggles but only one charge level. I fail to see much value in location based charging vs journey based charging. There may be two or three places at most I might have a reason to modify the charge level (home, work, everywhere else) but for the most part the amount of power I want depends on the journey I am about to do. Stories; As an owner, I want to programme a MINimum charge (say 80%) based on location (say home) not just a MAXimum charge so that by default my car is always ready to go if my plans change. As an owner I want to set a separate MINimum charge level (say 100%) in a timer programmes so that I can have the car ready for a long upcoming journey say the next day without having to alter the default charge level. And if you really want a smart story; As an owner I want the car to automatically manage its own charge schedule when I’m at home and I programme a future destination schedule such that the car will have an appropriate charge ready for the journey so that I don’t have to programme a manual timer for each long journey.
