Welcome to Navfree!
Navfree is a completely free GPS navigation app with no additional monthly charges. It uses map data created by a community of thousands of users around the world. This means as the community grows so does the quality of the map data.
Navfree features onboard maps that are stored directly onto your device so there is no need for a constant data connection whilst driving. It also allows you to browse maps anytime, anywhere without paying for data connections. Also, benefit from no additional roaming charges when abroad! Hoorah!
Navfree uses Crowd-Powered data with the help of OpenStreetMap, a mapping system that was created by over 350,000 users and, as such, the map data is free to use. OpenStreetMap could be described as the ‘Wikipedia’ of map data. As the data is reliant on it’s users, maps can occasionally by incorrect or not up to date, but with the use of Navfree’s inbuilt map report tool, maps can easily be edited by sending map errors!

• Users can now use Google or Microsoft Bing directly from Navfree. Search results appear on the map interface - and then only one click to navigate.
LIVE MAP DISPLAY
• Easier than paper maps! Browse maps with multi-touch dragging and scrolling. Enables instant routing by holding down at any point on the map and clicking ‘route’. Great when the full address of where you need to get to is unknown!
• Multiple guidance displays available: toggle between 2D, 3D or safety screen mode!

Problem since update
Since I updated on 3/5/2012 the ads are back even though it says adfree is installed!! Help please

I paid for the ad free version and after a software update the ads were back! Swindle
Update works just fine for me?
You just need to go into advanced/preferences/installed software and then restore your purchases.
Doing this reinstalled my add free version, postcodes and safety camera data. You don't have to pay again :-)
