If you ever needed to choose items randomly, now you can with No Hands Up!
Create your own categories to suit your specific needs. Then simply enter your choices for that category and select the Randomize Button - a random choice will be displayed for you.
Choose Sweepstake Mode to select an item at random and then remove it from your list, so that it cannot be selected again.
No Hands Up! could easily be used for selecting lottery numbers.
Teachers - save £5 on lollypop / popsicle sticks , which get broken or easily lost by downloading No Hands Up!

Some good improvements
The recent improvements make it easier to import a list and the sweepstakes mode no longer clears the list.
A delay and sound effect has been introduced before the name is displayed, which is fun if the class can see the screen. However the minimum time is about 1 or 2 seconds (change in iPhone settings). It would be better to have a "no delay" option for the teacher to pick a name instantly.
A suggestion for future versions would be to quickly generate a list of x names in a random order. For instance, you could ask for 3 random volunteers or randomly set the order all students must give their answers.
Overall this is useful for AfL questioning, managing a class discussion or just randomising a list of names or data and should save time writing names on lolly sticks. Just ensure you can manage the class when they see your iPhone!
