The angry public ,

UI Design is so bad it’s funny, but great functionality underneath

I actually find myself chuckling when I use this app because the UI/UX design is so unbelievably poor and nonsensical I sometimes think it’s like two people designed different parts of the app who have never spoken.

There’s no consistency, very little context continuity, massive menu lists, multiple menus with the same function, unselectsble drop downs, the list goes on.

That said the raw functionality and the property database underneath is great and I would probably recommend it, it’s a marvel of function over design.

Full of usage problems

When looking at the compatibility checks in the App Store, the “Compatibility” field states quite clearly: Works on this iPad.

Specs this end: 3rd generation iPad Pro, up to date iOS etc.

As another reviewer observes, the usability of this app is awful. In my instance, you start to set the filters, and the filter menu page will not shift down once you need/want to fill in other fields. I also couldn’t then close the filter page etc, and definitely no access to a “set filters” button.

When using Prime Location over their internet page in years gone by I had reason to write to them and complain how awful that was with the search process not working - it seems they are still not bothered by writing decent software.

Download the app for the iPad around ten minutes ago. Will be deleting it in about two minutes, and like another reviewer, will use their competitor apps instead.

In this day and age, a functioning property app isn’t that big an ask, and taking into account previous approaches to this lot about poor software, now seriously concerned about how GDPR complain they are with account details - as if they cant be bothered to have a decent “IT” app, how bothered are they about “IT” security?

Good bye Prime Location.

Poor & amateurish frustrating app

🤬🤬🤬🤬 Such a poor and outdated app. It never saves your searches though it supposedly has a function tick box to remember who you are. The search field allows you to enter where you’re looking but offers no filters ie price range, distance, property type until its completed its search of the initial entered place name. To add the filters you have to back page after all the results have been provided for your initial search ie it return EVERY property of all types, prices etc etc. The app is so frustrating I only bother to use it once in a while and prefer to use Rightmove or even Zoopla. Badly designed app which feels as though its 10 yrs behind

The Rightmove app compared to this is miles better and does save your searches AND remember who you are each time you use the app again.
