Works really well
It took a while for me to be able to get the desktop version of this as it's so popular but I think this is a good sign as they're not overloading the system and it only took me 24hrs before I was able to sign up. Now I've finally got it all up and working it's great although it does take quite a bit of time to initially upload all my files. The magic briefcase idea is fantastic - I was able to access files instantly. It's not perfect at the moment, for example, it doesn't support Outlook at the moment, but it is listed as one of the things they are going to add and some documents don't open first time. The price plans are pretty good as well - I'm certainly going to be signing up for this as I can access any of my files from anywhere! I've not tried MobileMe, but I'm sure this app could give it a real run for its money.
Invaluable
I’ve used SugarSync for several years. The app is good, and allows immediate access to files, or for you to send them to others. SugarSync acts as both cloud storage, and automatic cloud-back-up, which has been invaluable in the past.
Recently when my laptop was inaccessible, I was able to find the file I needed in the app in seconds and share it with colleagues.
SugarSync also stores the 5 previous versions of a file, so if you accidentally overwrite a file, you can retrieve it, which I’ve needed to do multiple times.
Excellent app!
I’ve used this service for many years. It is easy to use and very reliable (except for just one short period of a few days). I can access all the company’s files on PC, laptop, iPad and iPhone… anywhere and at anytime. An excellent back up too. Highly recommended.
