The Wine Society is one of the UK’s leading wine merchants. A not-for-profit co-operative owned solely by its members, it sells only to them and exists for their benefit. This means that The Society can concentrate on what’s important: providing members with delicious and interesting wines at fair prices with the highest level of service.
A recent survey of UK wine clubs by Which? magazine concluded:

Members can purchase their wines via The Society’s app, which also contains a wealth of information available to all; from expert guides, food matching tips and vintage charts through to the full range of wines and offers available now.
Informative and easy to use, The Wine Society app allows you to find out more about the world of wine and discover the benefits of belonging to the world’s oldest wine club.

Select wines by region, type or bottle price and view the latest offers. Members can then purchase wines through the app (for delivery to their main account address). We are unaware of any other specialist wine merchant whose iPhone app offers this function.

Please note: at present the app does not allow members to view or change their subscriptions to our Wine Without Fuss or Vintage Cellar Plan schemes, or view their account status or Reserves. Tasting tickets and opening offers are also currently unavailable. These and other functions are being considered for future versions.
This app uses iPhone 2x mode when used on the iPad. If you use an iPad, we therefore recommend you opt to use The Society’s website, thewinesociety.com.

Great application. Love wine society. Great wine at very reasonable cost. Also they do a good selection of half bottles as well as their own label. Enjoy!
Does the job
Good if you want to order wine and know what you're looking for. The Society is the best wine merchant in the UK, bar none. Fantastic range and really competitively priced. The drivers who deliver are great too.
