Major release of the new iOS app. Lot of fixes from last build. Important one's are summarized below :

+ Made application available for all the Apple Watch. We had to remove Apple Watch Series 1 from the application because it was causing conflicts with the newer version.
+ Fixes a bug in the Outlines, Habits & Lists section where navigation or header to add new items were missing.
+ Fixes a bug with crashing of app when a Note was searched in Notes Section.
+ Fixes an issue where the sync was breaking and it was not able to sync all the tasks.

Please see:
a) Before upgrading to this version, make sure you are syncing your app with Toodledo. Details can be found under Settings --> Synchronization --> Modify Account Login.
b) If you don't see your data after an upgrade, try deleting the app and re-installing again. After that go to Settings --> Synchronization --> Enter Account Login. This will sync all your data from website to the app.
c) Keep the synchronization settings to Sync on Edit.
Ratings and Reviews
Liked the older versions better
Still very useful and syncs seamlessly with my Mac but I liked the older versions better. This version is ugly and has far too many unnecessary features.
I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and also noticed it does not update the “badge” unless you remember to open the app. Not a very good feature for an app that’s supposed to help you remember stuff.
What a Total Shambles!
I have used this App for many years and have loved its ease of use and functionality. I really have only used it for Notes and Tasks. But a year or so ago the Tasks stopped sorting by Date Modified and couldn’t be fixed by reinstalling the App (while the web version worked fine). Otherwise it worked well for me despite its ancient style / appearance.
Now we finally have an update after an eternity (3 years - presumably died and resurrected!) and what a mess - a great way to rapidly lose what customer base you still have left.
• Notes - has such a fundamental flaw its unbelievable - and especially that you haven’t fixed it yet - don’t you use it yourselves?! One can’t view and scroll any note at all if it occupies more than the screen size without tapping the note and going into edit mode.
• Tasks - you have completely removed multiple sorting criteria for the Hot List - unless one subscribes.
Presumably at this rate we will have to wait another few years for a further update. All things must pass - some much sooner than others. Looks like it’s time to move to another app.
Still awaiting a functional iPad version, 4 months and counting
The previous iPad version was withdrawn without notice. The latest fix was supposed to solve that issue. It might do for some light users but for those very people like me who pay the most and who've been subscribers for the longest time, it simply doesn't work. If you have a large number of saved tasks it just falls over.
The Toodledo support guys used to respond to emails with an update of where they were with this. Now they just ignore my enquiries. If I was in the free version I wouldn't complain but I'm paying lots of money for a system that should work across all platforms but doesn't work on the world's best loved tablet and hasn't done since the beginning of July.
The Toodledo customer service department should look into this ASAP. It's a perfect example on how to continually pee off your best customers.
