Every Sunday during summer, thousands of clubbers from around the globe make the pilgrimage to the legendary We Love… Space club nights in Ibiza, to see artists and DJs like Grace Jones, the Chemical Brothers and Hot Chip take to the stage. Not content with just putting on the best parties in Ibiza, the We Love… team strive to ensure that the night’s fans (affectionately known as We Lovers) can engage with all the activity long after they have left the island, or even before they step foot on it.
In 2006 We Love... Radio was born. An audio podcast that features insights to the parties, mixes and interviews with the DJs has proven immensely successful, breaking into the iTunes Top 5 music podcasts and receiving over 2 million downloads to date. Towards the end of summer 2007, We Love... TV was created. Short episodes featuring footage from We Love… Space, backed up by interviews with the international acts on show at the club and some of the more interesting characters from the island, were also well received. We Love… TV has since grown into two episodes per week over the summer: a five minute teaser, plus an in-depth twenty minute episode, split into two ten minute parts.
So as we dance on into the summer of 2010, We Love… are proud to present the We Love iPhone app. This free application allows We Lovers to access all the We Love… content on the move – delivering the latest news from www.welove-music.com, videos and audio from We Love… TV and Radio, and allowing We Lovers to connect on Facebook, Twitter and Myspace – all from the palm of their hand!
