Biography

Shouty dance-punk outfit Attractive and Popular feature vocalist Zak, guitarist Bobby Missile, drummer Trista, bassist Jake Noise, and keyboardist Blake (aka Blazer). Zak, Missile, and Trista formed the band in fall 2004 in Lafayette, LA; the trio then moved to Hot Springs, AR, where Noise and Blake joined the fold. The group's energetic live show — which includes green band uniforms with gold sequined dollar signs — and consistent touring sparked word-of-mouth buzz, and Gold Standard Laboratories signed Attractive and Popular in 2006. Their debut album, Money Equals Magic, arrived the following spring.
