When I was about 11 years old I found my dads old acoustic guitar in the back of a cupboard, and I took it out and started to carry it around the house pretending I knew how to play. That was the start of it all! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, Bon Iver Michael Jackson, Thriller Nirvana, Nevermind Nevermind was the soundtrack of my youth. Thriller is the perfect pop album. Bon Iver are everything I want to be as an artist. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dead Things To Life” This is the song that I think best encapsulates me as a songwriter, producer, and artist. Musically I love the journey it takes, and lyrically it expresses the hope that underpins all of my music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A few years ago I was invited to sing for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at an event in London. The event was televised on BBC 1, and it was definitely one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are so many things I'd love to do, but my dream as a songwriter and producer would be to work with Boygenius on their next album.
