Blue Monday

This is the first Nicci French novel that I've read and I was pleasantly surprised. Although I enjoyed the whole book, the ending made it all worth it. I'd like to put my failure to work out the ending down to staying awake into the small hours - suffice to say, I definitely didn't see it coming. Onto the next in the series!

Stick with it

This book is written by two authors and at times it feels like it, especially early on. But as you progress through the book and the characters take shape, you're rewarded with a thrilling novel with twists and turns around every corner. The climax is unexpected and shocking. Stick with it, it's worth it.
