Great read.
An inspiring and very different perspective of mankind written very successfully in an intricate expression of a thick imagination. It hints of epic tales of the past and philosophises on the possible future. Typical and well composed 'Clarke'.
Awe inspiring
In this book, Clarke expands your imaginative horizons regarding humanity's future beyond hundreds or thousands of years to hundreds of millions, forcing into your mind's eye an almost terrifying scope of vision. A huge inspiration to me, this book led not only to a personal passion for writing, but also a permenantly changed perspective on the world. Utterly spectacular.
