Warm, witty, spirit raising read!
I have read a lot of 'perfect for summer' read recently, and this one is different. I loved everything about it - the settings, the characters, the witty dialogue, the underlying truths - oh how I wish I had read this, or something similar, when I was younger!
Jenny Sparrow has her life all mapped out - literally. She wrote her list aged thirteen and now, aged 30, she is still using it as her life plan. However, as we all know, plans are made to be broken ...
I really loved this novel, it has just the right mix of sureness and certainty, work and fun, sadness and happiness. A gorgeous warm, funny, uplifting, spirit-raising read - and if you're only going to manage to fit in one summer read make it this one. I closed my kindle with a little sigh of happiness at a book well read.
