The Lost Files
I have already read "I am Number Four" after watching the movie and really enjoyed the book, far better than the movie and I downloaded all the other Pittacus Lore books.
As The Lost Files was the published before The Power Of Six I decided to read this next. I bought the The Lost Files collective ie all three stories in one.
The first part was about Six and I found it a bit slow initially and quite similar to that of Fours's experiences with less intimacy, but by the climax of her story I was riveted....it became a real page turner. On reflection Six's story was always going to be difficult to tell as the reader already has identified with her and already knows her potential which made it a slower read in the beginning. I give this portion of the book 3 stars!!
The story of Nine was completely the opposite to the experience's of his two counterparts. The Cepan- Garde dynamics was different, their strategy had moved on, they were at different stage in their struggle with the Mogadarians. I really enjoyed reading about Nine's flitting romance and ultimate struggle. He is definitely a force to be reckoned with and I look forward to reading about it in the Rise Of Nine. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Nine I give this part of the story 4 stars!!
The final part took me completely by surprise, completely loving the angle it took to tell the story of the fall of the first three Garde. Could not put my iPad iBook down, loved it. Hope to see the protagonist and One again further along the story!! EXCELLENT!!
