Couldn’t put it down!
Luna's mother has died. Travelling to Boston with her sister, they aim to lay the family ghosts to rest by selling the family home. But when the impossible happens, Luna realises she has a chance to change the past. Can she do it? Should she? And at what cost... will she give up everything to save her mum?
The Summer of Impossible Dreams is a story about love and sacrifice, which carries the reader on an impossible journey through the choices we make, the regrets we have, and asks the question 'would you change it if you could?"
Rowan Coleman writes a prose so vivid I felt like I was there, seeing and feeling the story along with the characters. I read it in 24h, despite work, children, and life. (I just didn't sleep instead!) 5*
Really does give you goosebumps
I downloaded this book after seeing it on telly just today on Zoe ball on Sunday where Alex Jones was reviewing it. Don't want to give away any spoilers im only 10 chapters in and as Alex said, it will give you goosebumps. Very well written and easy to read, for only £1.99, definitely recommend
It’s hard to know what to write first ....
... The Summer of Impossible Things is a truly magical book. It not only transports the reader across time, it also holds out the possibility that you too can cross time. To go back to when your most beloved partner was at your side day in, day out. To once more say how much you love them and how important they are to you - and how important they will always be.
I wept buckets whilst reading this book yet at the same time felt lifted up with hope. As I have already said, a truly magical book. Like good friends, a good book seems to arrive when it is most needed or when it will do the most good. This book has certainly done me good!
