Set in Ireland and Scotland in 1919, this tense political thriller follows Tom Costello, a top marksman, chosen by Irish Republican leaders to assassinate a British General. There is an informer in their midst and the British send their own crack shot, Corporal Harrison to hunt down and kill Tom before he trains his sights on General Maxwell.
Romance blossoms amongst the violence between Tom and Bernadette as she helps him evade the British bullets. There are many twists and turns against a background of political turmoil, as Tom struggles to fulfill his orders while pursuing his own family vendetta, protecting Bernadette and unmasking the traitor.
