Round and round the track, and the world - Formula One Driver Karun Chandhok | Karun Chandhok (Hindi: करुण चंडोक; born January 19, 1984 in Madras) is an Indian racing driver, who competed for Hispania Racing in Formula One in 2010. Before this, he drove in the GP2 Series for three years, winning two races. Prior to his time in GP2, Chandhok won the Formula Asia championship in 2001 and was the inaugural Formula Asia V6 by Renault champion in 2006. On 22 March 2011, Chandhok was confirmed as a reserve driver at Team Lotus for the 2011 season. He drove the car in free practice for the Australian Grand Prix, crashing out on the installation lap. He reprised his co-commentary role for BBC Radio 5 Live at the Spanish Grand Prix. After driving in a further three free practice sessions he replaced Jarno Trulli for the German Grand Prix. He finished 20th and last, two laps behind teammate Heikki Kovalainen and a lap behind 19th placed Daniel Ricciardo. He was also 4 laps behind race winner Lewis Hamilton. In the last quarter of 2011, Chandhok joined the i1 Super Series as an International class driver for its inaugural season in 2012. Chandhok admitted that he was unlikely to gain a Formula One seat for 2012, and targeted a third driver place once again. Ed began his current consumer programme on BBC WM in 1988. There have been over 5000 programmes over the past 18 years and the programme continues to be one of the most listened-to in the region. He is well known for pioneering social action broadcasting, tackling dishonest and cavalier traders on behalf of the consumer. Ed also takes on the big utilities, the councils of the West Midlands and even areas of national government if an injustice has been done. The Chelsea Flower Show is a vital part of the English summer for those fortunate enough to visit the show but to those who watch it on the small screen, it has to capture the spectacle of the event live for 10 hours each year. Karen Arrand was the BBC producer responsible for bringing the show into our living rooms in 2000 to 2003. Karen took over the Show when it came back to the BBC after Channel Four had televised it for a few years. She transformed it into a great watch which generated the biggest audience for BBC Two in 2002 and 2003. Karen managed large teams in front as well as behind the camera working with some of the best known names in the gardening world. From 2000 to 2006, she was Controller, Drama Commissioning and responsible for drama commissioning on BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three and BBC Four. A Life in Television - Jeremy Isaacs | Jeremy Isaacs is a television producer, broadcaster and arts impresario. Born in Glasgow, Isaacs was educated at Merton College, Oxford. He joined Granada Television as a producer (1958) and worked on programmes such as What The Papers Say and, for the BBC, Panorama. Isaacs has produced some of the most significant historical documentaries made for British television, such as The World At War (1975), made in 26 episodes, Ireland: A Television History (1981) and the Cold War (1998). He has been Director of Programs at Thames Television and was the first Chief Executive of Channel Four Television (1981-87), doing much to shape the reputation of that channel for quality alternative programming.
