Plot Summary
Academy Award-winners Robert DeNiro ("Showtime," "Analyze This") and Al Pacino ("Insomnia," "Any Given Sunday") -- together for the first time since "The Godfather Part II" -- head a stellar cast in this taut psychological drama about an obsessive detective and a brilliant thief whose fates are linked in the aftermath of a high-stakes securities heist. Co-starring Val Kilmer, Oscar-winner Jon Voight, Golden Globe-nominee Amy Brenneman, Golden Globe-nominee Tom Sizemore, Diane Venora, Emmy and Golden Globe-nominee Ashley Judd and Natalie Portman. Phenomenal!
Only one review!? For this? 'Heat' is one of THE most gripping, intelligent and down right awesome action thrillers out there. A must see.
Pure class
Sadly the trailer does nothing to convey the pure class that this film exudes. It's beautiful to watch, the action is totally gripping and the scene with De Niro and Pacino chatting over a coffee is incredible! Both are absolutely amazing throughout and makes Carlitos Way look a little flat. That's how good this is!
The best there is
Quite simply this is my faviurite film. Immense. If you have not seen this then you are missing a real treat. Great bloke film....must watch.
