Just superb.
It's so easy to have an incredible respect for Joan Rivers. Her tenacity, her work ethic, her honesty, her loyalty. I could go on. This film brilliantly exposes the real Joan Rivers and reveals a sensitive and driven woman, and, at 75 years old, sill totally on top of her game. Kathy Griffin cites Joan as being one of the very few really original comediennes, and a trend-setter. She is right about this. You can count the really top-notch women comedians in the U.S.A and in the U.K on your 8 fingers and two thumbs - which is a shame. However, this film demonstrates that Joan really is the unchallenged Queen of Comedy.
A thoughtfully filmed, brilliantly edited film with great pacing and story telling. Really, you should watch it.
Excellent
