Plot Summary

Whether you love him or hate him, there is no question that George W. Bush is one of the most controversial public figures in recent memory. In an unprecedented undertaking, acclaimed director Oliver Stone is bringing the life of our 43rd President to the big screen as only he can. W takes viewers through Bush's eventful life -- his struggles and triumphs, how he found both his wife and his faith, and of course the critical days leading up to Bush's decision to invade Iraq.

A fairer portrayal

Probably a fair portrayal of the man George W. Bush, which goes some way to shedding light on the decisions he took and what motivated him in life. Far more interesting that i expected it to be but does gloss over the finer details especially his second term of office. Over all its worth watching, as it does provide a fair balanced Portrayal of George Bush, instead of pandering to him or slandering him, even if the Actors at times don't look like their characters.

Entertaining and thought provoking.

Heard a University lecturer the other day say "there is only one thing worse than having had Bush in the White House for the last few years, and that's not having him there at all", this film goes a long way down that road. Right or wrong it shows the man as he probably is (or was). Not the most eloquent of individuals, but true to his beliefs. A good film, well acted, how true to the facts? Well we'll never know will we? If it wasn't about Bush it would be a second rate flick, but the content-matter makes the film.

Michael Rose

“This film is brilliantly elegant and uncontaminated. It just shows how the most powerful man on the planet was one of us. Very thought provoking and poignant.” M . Rose
