Another nice Itunes list

Having looked over this list, theres a nice mellow mix going. The only problem I can for see with this is the typical "WHAT NO SWEET SHOP" comments that tend to tarnish mixes.
A nice bit of varity through the BPM's. It looks like some effort's gone to organise this.

Dubstep?

The mix of tracks seems to massively vary in styles and bpm, which brings up the endless question, what is dubstep?
Alot of the tracks are actually more UK Funky than dubstep and the mix has hints of drum and bass, juke and just general electronic and IDM.
Even if this mix isn't completely dubstep, it's definitely a good mix of great tracks showing the kind of tracks and range of tracks played underground nowadays, and is all in all a good effort from itunes.
I did think some tracks could of been swapped though, as there are some clear odd ones out like, James Blake's Limit To Your Love and Caspa's Geordie Racer, i felt like they should of put a more dancey James Blake track like Air & Lack Thereof or something...

A half decent reflection

Good mix of tracks; I think the first steps section is probably the most accurate by introducing with some of the older heavyweight dubstep artists like pinch, silkie and 2562 and how theyre newer releases have remained right on point.

Shame not to see other sounds from other imprints ie ramandanman and untold from hessle (wheres the Pangaea??).

Dont quite understand why deep cuts includes tracks from burial; i considered these almost textbook burial; keeps alot of his original sound which was very much associated with a more 'original' sound of dubstep as opposed to a 'todays' idea of dubstep. Probably just in their as a result of its release in 2011.
